What's new in Cadence
Every release, as it ships — no filler, no “bug fixes and performance improvements”.

Make cards your own
Every board now decides what its cards contain. Hide the built-in sections you don't need, then add custom fields of your own — and let AI suggest the right set for your board.
- Card layout per board: switch off labels, dates, assignees, checklists, attachments, relations, covers or comments — a recipes board needs none of the team machinery.
- Custom fields in six types: text, number, select, date, checkbox and link. Free boards get 2 per board; Pro is unlimited.
- Describe your board and AI suggests fitting fields — options included — for you to review and add.
- Fields work everywhere: sortable table columns you can edit in place, filter groups, dashboard breakdowns, automation conditions and actions, and chips on the card front.
- Quick-add AI fills fields too: “Dinner party Friday, budget 200” lands with Budget already set.
- Bulk-set a field across selected table rows, and shared public boards show field chips read-only.

A sharper table, dashboard and landing
A polish pass across the biggest surfaces: the table view, the dashboard and the landing page.
- Table columns now align perfectly on every row, with a calmer glass look.
- The dashboard got a full glass redesign with clearer KPIs and breakdown bars.
- Doc→board conversion can write card descriptions, with a toggle to keep them off.
- A new cinematic landing page tells the Cadence story scroll by scroll.
- Improved
Card quality-of-life
A batch of small things that make everyday carding nicer.
- Rich-text card descriptions with headings, lists and formatting.
- Link attachments with automatic brand recognition for common tools.
- Star your favorite boards to pin them up top.
- Duplicate cards — within a list or into another board.
- Search across your docs, and quick-create cards straight from the calendar.
- Misclick protection: destructive buttons can ask before they act.
- New
Docs, beside your boards
Documents joined boards as a first-class surface — briefs, specs, plans and retros that live next to the work.
- A full document editor with blocks, checklists and history.
- Doc → board: AI turns a written plan into lists and cards you can review first.
- Board → doc: generate a written summary of any board.
- Undo toasts with a countdown ring, so slips are reversible.
- New
