All of Cadence's AI now speaks one language: yours. Ask questions across every board, or tell it what to change — it reads, reasons and acts, always within what you can access.
- “What's overdue across my boards?” — it reads your boards and My Work and answers with the real cards.
- “Move my design cards to next week” — it finds them, updates the dates and reports exactly what changed.
- It understands your custom fields: ask by stage, set a budget, fill a select — fields give it something concrete to act on.
- “Draft a launch plan as a board” creates the whole board, lists and starter cards included.
- Pro feature, metered by the same AI credits as everything else; every action runs under your own permissions.

Docs meet your boards
Documents and boards stopped being neighbors and became one system: cards now live inside docs, and cards know which docs talk about them.
- Embed any card in a doc — it renders live: title, labels, due date and checklist progress stay in sync with the board in real time.
- Tick the card done right from the doc; the board follows instantly.
- Two embed sizes: a detailed panel for the card that matters, a compact one-liner for lists of many.
- Cards show a “Linked in docs” section, so a card always knows where it's being discussed.
- Readers only ever see embeds from boards they can access.

Six ready-made boards — with lists, sample cards and the right custom fields already in place — plus a public gallery to browse them.

Make cards your own
Every board now decides what its cards contain. Hide the built-in sections you don't need, then add custom fields of your own — and let AI suggest the right set for your board.
- Card layout per board: switch off labels, dates, assignees, checklists, attachments, relations, covers or comments — a recipes board needs none of the team machinery.
- Custom fields in six types: text, number, select, date, checkbox and link. Free boards get 2 per board; Pro is unlimited.
- Describe your board and AI suggests fitting fields — options included — for you to review and add.
- Fields work everywhere: sortable table columns you can edit in place, filter groups, dashboard breakdowns, automation conditions and actions, and chips on the card front.
- Quick-add AI fills fields too: “Dinner party Friday, budget 200” lands with Budget already set.
- Bulk-set a field across selected table rows, and shared public boards show field chips read-only.
